Chester

Chester...

...is an adult male trapped at his nest on Cox Neck, a peninsula of Kent Island in the upper Chesapeake Bay on April 21st.

There were 3 eggs in Chester's nest when we trapped him. He is now providing food for at least 2 young, besides his mate and himself, of course.

17 June 2014

This is about a week or so of Chester's movements up through the 17th of June. He's spending very little time in Chesapeake Bay proper and more time in Crab Alley Bay, just east of Kent Island.
