Belle - The fourth migration, 2014-2015

This is the track for Belle's fourth migration to Brazil in 2014 and his return in 2015.

Details:

Fall departure: 19 September, arrival 22 October. 34 days in transit. He made his annual pit stop at Lake Azuei in Haiti on the way south this cycle and skipped it on the way north.

Winter range was identical to last year, moving back and forth from the south bank of the Rio Madeira to a lake just a few miles from the river.

Spring return: 8 March, arrival 4 April. 28 days on the wing. This was his earliest spring departure and almost five weeks earlier than his first spring departure back in 2012.
